Thank you for visiting New Castle Self Storage™ (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website or using any facility services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

The information on newcastleself.com is provided for general information and to assist you in reserving storage units. You may not use this site for fraudulent activity or to interfere with our operations. All content is owned by New Castle Self Storage and may not be copied without permission.

Actual storage rental is governed by a separate written Rental Agreement executed at the time of move-in. Those terms control unit rent, fees, insurance options, and access rules. Nothing on this website modifies, replaces, or supersedes the signed Rental Agreement. If any conflict exists between these Terms and your Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement applies.

Under Title 25 of the Delaware Code, we hold a lien on all personal property stored within our facility for unpaid rent and charges. If you default, your property may be sold to satisfy the lien after proper notice and publication as required by Delaware law (25 Del. C. § 4903–4904). You will receive written or electronic notice before any sale.

New Castle Self Storage does not insure the contents of your unit. You are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance coverage through your homeowners, renters, or a separate storage policy. If optional tenant insurance is offered, purchase is voluntary unless required by the Rental Agreement.

Access to the facility is limited to authorized occupants during posted gate hours. You agree not to store food, hazardous materials, illegal goods, or live animals. No residential use is permitted. No working, repairing vehicles, running power tools, or remaining on the premises except for accessing your unit. Violations may result in termination of access without refund.

Rent is due as stated in your Rental Agreement. Late fees may apply in accordance with Delaware law (whichever is greater: $20 or 20 percent of monthly rent). Returned-payment fees may also apply.

Either party may terminate the rental per the Rental Agreement. If you fail to pay rent or comply with rules, we may deny access and proceed with lien enforcement after notice and the waiting period required by law.

Use of our website and facilities is at your own risk. We are not liable for loss, theft, fire, water, or other damage to stored property except as required by law. The facility is not a warehouse or bailee and does not take custody of your property. We do not guarantee continuous access or availability of our site or services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any legal action shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction within New Castle County, Delaware.
